Recorded in the dark during Hurricane Harvey in Houston, Texas while Dave Godfrey was without power. Playing and recording music helped pass the time as there was not much else to do while surrounded by the floodwaters below. Features songs on mandolin, ukecello (baritone ukulele tuned like a cello), bullroarer, and acapella. A Zoom H2N field recorder was used.

While he originally played guitar and bass in hard rock bands, he now spends more time playing electric phin, bouzouki, mandolin, and Appalachian dulcimer.
